    WALLENPAUPACK LAKE ESTATES
    PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION
    BUILDING COMMITTEE
    June 7, 2008

The June 7, 2008 meeting of the Building Committee was opened at 9:00 AM.  In attendance were Chairman George Greig, Sandi Boyer, Al Cuccinello, Board Representative Ted Couillou, and Building Compliance Officer Larry Milliken.

    Old Business

Concerning the regulations for docks on Beaver and Deer Lakes: regulations currently state that maximum size is 10 X 10 ft. with 5 ft allowed in the water.  The committee unanimously recommends this be changed to allow 7 ft in the water and 3 ft on land.

The color chart was reviewed and no changes are recommended at this time.

A Property Owner who was fined $500 for failure to enclose within 6 months, has paid the fine and requested a hearing with the committee.  He did not show up.

    New Business

Larry has formulated “Modular Home delivery Requirements.”  These will not be included in the regulations, they will be given out for any modular home permit.  The requirements are needed because the modular homes being built are larger and need to be brought on several trucks which can completely tie up cul-de-sacs and other streets.  Security will determine staging areas.

It is unanimously recommended that the Building Regulations be amended as follows:  Article VII Section 11Construction Equipment Movement …unless it is equipped with rubber tires (add: and a steering wheel.) (add at end: Should any equipment prohibited from roads need to be used on roads to complete a specific job, contractor must make provisions to protect the road.) Also the fine for Article V Section 2 needs to state $1000.00 for the fine ($100.00 is a typo.) Also, add: or without a permit.

There were 3 new house permits, 3 extensions, and 12 other fee permits.

Next meeting is July 12, 2008 at 9 AM.  Meeting adjourned at 10:10 AM.

    Respectfully submitted,

    Sandi Boyer

    Secretary
