WALLENPAUPACK LAKE ESTATES The June 7, 2008 meeting of the Building Committee was
opened at 9:00 AM. In attendance were Chairman George Greig, Sandi Boyer, Al
Cuccinello, Board Representative Ted Couillou, and Building Compliance Officer
Larry Milliken. Old Business
Concerning the regulations for docks on Beaver and
The color chart was reviewed and no changes are
recommended at this time. A Property Owner who was fined $500 for failure to
enclose within 6 months, has paid the fine and requested a hearing with the
committee. He did not show up. New
Business
Larry has formulated “Modular Home delivery
Requirements.” These will not be included in the regulations, they will be
given out for any modular home permit. The requirements are needed because the
modular homes being built are larger and need to be brought on several trucks
which can completely tie up cul-de-sacs and other streets. Security will
determine staging areas. It is unanimously recommended that the Building
Regulations be amended as follows: Article VII Section 11Construction
Equipment Movement …unless it is equipped with rubber tires (add: and a steering wheel.) (add at end: Should
any equipment prohibited from roads need to be used on roads to complete a
specific job, contractor must make provisions to protect the
road.) Also
the fine for Article V Section 2 needs to state $1000.00 for the fine ($100.00
is a typo.) Also, add: or without a
permit. There were 3 new house permits, 3 extensions, and 12
other fee permits. Next meeting is July 12, 2008 at 9 AM. Meeting
