Welcome to Summer everyone! It’s the time of year everyone looks forward to (unless you enjoy shoveling snow and starting your car 10 minutes before you have to leave!) That being said, I would also like to welcome our new Board members, one of which happens to be me. A thank you from myself, welcome to Al Cucciniello, Dan Braun and Jerry LaStella. I, along with the rest of the Board, look forward to working with you on keeping this community a great place to live.

I would also like to thank our previous Board members Steve Sollenne, Paula Whitney and Conrad Zabransky for their service to the community. A lot of really nice amenities such as Kasper Lodge and the new Playground Area have come together through their guidance and service in the previous years.

I am extremely happy to announce that the new Fitness Center at the Main Clubhouse is set to open the first weekend of July. This has been a project several years in the works finally coming to a finish. The Fitness Center, attached to the indoor pool, will have several televisions inside and very nice equipment for a good workout experience. I hope all will enjoy. A special thanks to Joe Mongalieri for his time and devotion to the project and it’s Grand Opening.

The pools are open, the beaches are raked and there are new docks at the Main Beach on Lake Wallenpaupack. I hope everyone will experience all the community has to offer. If you have children or grandchildren please stop by the office or check the website www.wleonline.org and find out the schedule of activities WLE has to offer for the summer months, including a great Swim Team. On that note have a great summer and good luck to the Swim Team!!!
