BCO Report: Erosion control addresses below new business Item 2.
BOD Liaison Report: See Old Business Items 1 and 2.
Old Business:
- BOD Liaison – Feedback from BOD on Hot Tubs, Spas etc. Recommendation regarding Spas, 8×8 and max 600 gallons. The BODs response is the size should be larger (possibly 10×10). The BOD also mentioned that below grade would not be allowed nor would fencing. Greg will bring the size back to the BOD as the Committee is concerned it will allow Swim Spas.
- Review wording on fuel tank concealment – Article VI Regulations; Section 8 Page 17 Fuel Tank Concealment and location. Propane tanks in the community are not being concealed. Burial may be an option to conceal the tank. John mentioned any tank under 500 Gallons are not permitted to be buried. Annual tank inspection is also a concern. The Committee will work on the wording in the Rules and Regulations regarding concealment on tree sides.
New Business:
- Status of applications for vacant committee position. The Committee is advertising for new members and will canvas through the personal network of neighbors and friends if there are interested individuals.
- Erosion Control may need to be addressed in the Rules and Regulations as some properties are draining off to adjacent properties. Fran will be talking to the Paupack Township Conservation Department to see if there are guidelines for drainage. John Young is to forward PA Title 25 Chapter 102 referencing erosion control to the Committee.
